Your Questions About Big Muscle

Sandra asks…
was martial arts invented becuase many asians dont have big muscle mass, so it was developed as a way to fight?
as a way to fight those who big muscles? since martial arts uses strength that doesnt necessarily need bulk. (i am asian by btw)
admin answers:
Kung fu as in Chinese Martial Art… Is originally taught by Tat Mo a traveling Monk from India to a small Shaolin Monestary. It’s said that Tat Mo teach them to use Brooms, Stick and other daily tools to chase wild animal off their temple without killing them (Shedding Blood is a sin).
This is where Kung fu Later evolving… Even that time there are already exist traditional Martial arts such as Shuai Jiao (Chinese Judo) or even a style called Xing Yi Quan (Invented by Yue Fei) Yue Fei has a huge body by the way. He teach his generals the arts of Xing Yi.
Later Chinese Found that by practicing Chi, they can get much more Power… Even to take on man with a larger size then they are. Styes such as Ba Gua Zhang (Yin Fu is considered tall and skinny), Ba Qi Quan (Li Shu Wen is consider to be short) Wing Chun (see Yip Man Picture) and other chinese martial artist that time.
There is even a lot of Chinese Martial art style that require bigger Muscle… Such as Hung Ga, or even Pan Nam Wing chun… Their principle of pressing using forward movement can be achieve more effectively by acquiring a much more body weight.
So it’s depend on the style… For me i study styles with lineage of a smaller and skinnier founder =) because i’m not as big as other guy (173 Cm height 56 Kg weight). But i still can defeat bigger opponent then me. If you have larger body… It’s an advantage use it wise =) but if you don;t have it… Use your head not your strength =)

Mary asks…
How to get big muscle but also defined?
I want large muscle mass but I’ve heard you must eat shed loads of food. How could be defined at the same time?
admin answers:
You have to eat the right kind of foods to build muscle. Namely, protein. Eating shed loads of McDonalds isn’t going to put on anything but more fat.
For muscle definition, to get the muscles to show through layers of subcutaneous fat, you have to lower your body fat percentage. The best way to do this is to eliminate starchy refined carbohydrates from your diet. Carbohydrates convert to glucose (a sugar) in your body. A tiny bit of this sugar is converted to glycogen which is stored as fuel for your muscles, but the vast majority of it is stored as fat.

Robert asks…
What are the best ways to get BIG muscle in my arm?
Alright, I want muscle mass. Specificaly in my arms. ( Example: Sergei from black ops) <——-(just an example dont go on about it.) What are the best ways to get it?

Donald asks…
Loose weight first before aiming to get big muscle?
I have a question, should I loose weight( get ripped first ) first before aiming to become big? Or I should start aiming to get big and not to worry to loose weight. My physique is not really that good. I’m kinda thin but i have a gut.I read in a magazine that having a lot of muscle will burn a lot of calories. So aiming to have big muscle will help me loose a lot of weight too?? Need help
admin answers:
There’s a pretty simple formula for getting in shape–eat less and exercise more. However, if you’re trying to gain mass, I wouldn’t recommend doing a lot of cardio. However, this doesn’t mean that you should not do ANY cardiovascular training. It’s simply that it’s not as important to you if you’re trying to build muscle. Nobody will be able to see all of that beautiful muscle, however, if it’s under a layer of fat. The most common problem area is the stomach–you may have six pack abs, but nobody can see them if you have belly fat.
That being said, your solution should be to go to the gym three to four days a week and lift HEAVY weights which make you fail after about four repetitions-this will make you big. Later if you decide you want to go back and tone your muscle you may decide to use light weights with lots of reps.
Don’t ignore your cardio though. I would recommend starting at three days a week, 45 minutes per day, though most health experts will say that you should get at least 30 minutes per day.
Good luck!

Your Questions About Muscle Cars

Ken asks…
Does anyone know a good website to buy old muscle cars online?
I’m looking to buy an old muscle car, but no local places have much of a selection and the only online website I know to check is Craig’s List. They don’t need to be restored (i’m planning on doing that myself), but they do have to be older cars.
admin answers:
Look at http://www.easyexport.us/?a_aid=49e6f684c12b9. It’s Copart Auto Auction reseller. There are a lot of muscle cars (restored and not) at Copart. And you can get one of them for quite reasonable price.

Lizzie asks…
What would be a good title for a college argumentative paper about the unity among males via muscle cars?
I am writing a paper that shows that males are unified through muscle cars by advertisements, street racing and the power and design of the car. For example muscle cars brought about street racing which initiated a hobby for many males, therefore unifying males t a sport. What would be a good title for a paper like that?

Mandy asks…
What’s the best muscle car for a beginner in muscle cars?
I would love to start off with the hardcore classic muscle cars, but I do no have any experience,or info, on owning (let alone driving) a muscle car.
Camaro
Chevelle
Torino
Gran Torino
Pontiac GT
Pontiac Firebird etc.
admin answers:
I’ll just add to everyone’s excellent answers…
I’d look for an early-model third generation Firebird or Camaro (early 80s to early 90s). Very easy to work on, VERY easy to find parts for, and there are tons of online forums to help with any issues you might have. If you need parts quickly, I guarantee you that any pick-n-pull yard will have at least 10 of them sitting out in the yard to choose from.
Also, you can find a decent example for about $2500. This will get you a straight body, decent interior, decent engine (probably tired, but can be refurb’d), etc.

Sandra asks…
Will classic cars and muscle cars be more expensive 10 years from now?
I really admire the classic cars and muscle cars of the 50′s 60′s and 70′s. Many of these cars can still be had in great condition for prices ranging from $8k to $20k. However, I am worried that 10 years from now, those prices will increase sharply, and I will not be able to afford to purchase one. Do you think the prices of those cars will increase greatly within 10 years? A price increase of $5000 or less does not bother me.
admin answers:
I would expect them to increase by ten years from now. For two major reasons: The most obvious is that they are no longer made and therefore as classic cars are destroyed, or the metal frames brake down there are going to be fewer of them. Also because prices naturally increase over time due to inflation and other market factors. Classic car prices can be a touchy thing though because it depends largely on the demand for them. What I mean is that as time goes on a particular model may become less popular maybe because the generation of people that liked that particular car are no longer alive and therefore there are less people that desire that model. Hope this helps.

Your Questions About White House

Susan asks…
What are the steps to getting into the White House?
I have to create a graphic organizer that shows the steps you must take to get into the White House. Can anyone help me out?
admin answers:
To be President, you must be at least 35 years old, be a U.S. Citizen, and have lived in the country for 14 years, not necessarily consecutively.

Daniel asks…
How do they put the White House in movies and shows?
The White House seems pretty realistic on TV, including the rooms and stuff. Just how do they do it?
admin answers:
They use models or CGI.

Richard asks…
What is that darker level that sits atop the white house under the flag?
There is a dark collored part of the white house visible in pictures of it. it’s right under the flag and looks like it uses the top of the white part of the white house as a balcony? Any idea of what’s in there?
admin answers:
I believe the Secret Service has a place up there – perhaps missiles too.

David asks…
Should the White House Be Only Used as an Office Building for the President?
Wouldn’t it be great if the presidents get their own house or apartment and drive to work in the White House? Why do we want the White House to function as a “palace” for the president?
admin answers:
No. The President is effectively “on duty” 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The White House serves as his home, office, and provides secure working areas to manage emergency situations from. Imagine what it would be like to have to fight DC cross-town traffic to get to the office in case of a major emergency, even with the Presidential motorcade. You’d also have to provide full security at his residence, a needless expense since the White House is quite secure.

Joseph asks…
Why do you think the White House is refusing to let social secretary Desiree Rogers testify to Congress?
about Salahis gatecrashing the state dinner? Are they (White House) trying to hide and cover up a mistake made by one of their own and put the entire blame on the Secret Service or is there another reason?
admin answers:
Since she was instrumental in raising so much money for the obama campaign, they may be trying to figure out another way to sort this out without throwing her under the proverbial bus. It’s inevitable though. She’ll go under the bus if need be. The Secret Service may take a bullet for the president, but they won’t lie down for this crap.

Your Questions About How Long To Cook Pork Roast

Donna asks…
how long to roast 14 pounds of Pork?
I want to make 14 pounds of pork shoulder (boston butt) for my daughters birthday party. 30 people will be attending.
How long should I slow cook (in my large white roasting pan)?
I have never done this before!
and what temperature?
admin answers:
30-35 minutes per lb = 7 – 7.5 hours. I would allow at least an hour to to rest after cooking.

Betty asks…
How long will a pork roast keep in the fridge after being cooked?
and if it’s borderline questionable what are the best ways to check? smell, appearance…?
it’s been exactly 7 days…I’m prob going to just pitch it.
admin answers:
Covered in tin foil tightly wrapped , 5-6 days no problem , or cut into chunks and freeze for a stew or curry when u want to use is . Also slice it cover with gravy to make another meal , or put in freezer for up to 6-7 months and defrost , put in oven about 160c for 20-30 minits and hay presto another foast dinner , paule t .

Laura asks…
How long will it take for my pork roast to be done in my slow cooking crock pot?
I’ve never really cooked with a crock pot. I have a little one with only one setting, which in the manual says is equal to “low” on other crock pots. I got myself a pork roast, but I’m not sure how long it will take for it to be done. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Also, does it have to be all the way submerged in the water? The roast sticks up a bit out of the water. Will it shrink enough to get all cooked?
admin answers:
As long as the lid is able to stay on it doesn’t matter if your roast is fully submerged in the water. It really depends on the size of your roast. Generally speaking, most recipes that cook on low take about 10 to 12 hours to cook on low. No peeking! You lift that lid and you might as well add another half an hour to an hour of cooking time.

John asks…

Your Questions About How Long Will Recession Last

Lisa asks…
I am suffering from generalized gingival recession and sensitivity. How long will my teeth last?
I want to know from experience what is the period like for tooth loss to happen if good care is given like flossing and two time brushing. I am 28 year old male and a smoker of 20 ciggs a day(i know quitting will reduce risk). Also sometimes I clench my teeth at night. I want to know exact reasons of recession – whther it is too much brushing, bruxism (clenching of teeth – nightguard needed and how to measure bruxism?), alchohal, plaque deposits or anything else? and if I reduce all risks how long will it take for tooth loss to happen? currently I have almsot 4-5 mm of recession on outer side of all teeth while no recession at all on inside of teeth except for lower front teeth (which are mis-aligned and thus gather more plaque). Dental x-rays show very minimal bone less. how you reduced risk? Whether gum grafting is successful as I am very concerned about this condition and fear immediate tooth loss if recession goes on at this rate(i have noticed recession only 6 months back).
admin answers:
As a dental hygienist of six years and now a dentist, I must tell you, no one can answer this question with out seeing you. Not only can you see recession but you must do a periodontal exam to evaluate the bone levels, if you have pockets, you have lost more bone than you know (add recession+pocket depth= total loss of supporting structure). I recommend, #1 see a dentist for a comprehensive exam and voice your concerns. #2 QUIT SMOKING (it increases your risk of periodontal disease). #3 Keep up with regual dental visits (often people with gum disease need to have cleanings and maintianance every 3-4 months). In most cases, someone as young as you are who practices good home care can reverse some of the loss or at least halt the disease in which case you could keep your teeth your entire life. Recession can be caused by many of the things you mentioned, aggressive/improper bruhsing, brusxism, plaque and calculus (tartar) depostits. Seriously, go see a dentist now, before it gets beyond help.

Chris asks…
Does any body know how long this economic recession will last, and what the solution be on a short term?
I’m 42 years off age , i enter the job market on the 80′s since then i have work so hard ,back on those days just to work 50 hrs off work to receive a payment off one hundred and some dls ,solwly get myself through time to time and now suddenly after all those years off hard
work seem to banish and encounter myself stranded with a family ,no job and uncertain future so my question is do i have to depend on a desemployment check in order to survive when i do nothing wrong but work hard , so my question is this do i have to lay back ,does that going to solve my problem and the economic problem that is affecting all off us ,came on is got to be another solution better than that don’t you guys think !!! any sugestions wil be appreciated
admin answers:
I am 35 so we are not too far apart in age. I dont think this economy is going to recover anytime in the next 10 years. For one thing, this is GLOBAL…every country’s economy is shrinking. Second, things were never as rosey as the press made them anyway. A lot of people had what I call “false wealth”…they had money in inflated assets such as 401Ks, stocks and real estate. I knew this was coming when I saw 35K/year secretaries getting into 225K houses!! C’mon!! And these ARM mortgages??? Where did people think the interest rates would go?? LOWER??? Bottom line, peoples greed, arrogance and ignorance has made a bad situation for guys like you and me who worked and paid as we went. Sadly, we will probably never see the economic boom in our working lifetime……good luck

Nancy asks…
How deep and how long of a recession are we facing?
How bad will the recession be at its peak? For how long will the recession last?
The person who comes closest to guessing it correctly wins an imaginary cookie.
admin answers:
At about 2 years before we’re up to what we were. At it’s peak was about a month ago. Just before the election. When we had those days close together where the Dow closed at about 9k.

Susan asks…

Your Questions About Build Muscle Mass

Chris asks…
What is the best types of exercises to help burn fat but not really build muscle mass?
I am in search of a good aerobic type exercise other than walking, eliptical machines, and running that will help burn fat. Do not want to build any more muscle mass, just want to tone up more.
I do not need any more muscle mass. I have enough just want to keep fat off my bones!
admin answers:
Hi. Nobody has answered your question thus far.
Games playing (like soccer, tennis, hockey etc) are good, however be careful not to get injured.
You’ve covered walking, running and cross training.
Cycling. Swimming (non load bearing however), circuit training, skipping.
Anything that you can use to raise your heart rate to about 70% of HRMax will do the trick… And then sustain it for about 30 minutes.

Linda asks…
Advantages and disadvantages of using creatine along with protein shakes to build muscle mass?
What does creatine do to increase muscle mass. does it increase muscle mass quickly? Disadvantages and advantages of using creatine? Does it work and build muscle mass faster?
admin answers:
Pitt,
You shouldn’t think of creatine as something to use “along with” protein shakes or any other supplement or food. It has a certain effect on the body that won’t be disrupted or probably even enhanced by taking protein shakes.
What creatine does is allow your muscles to more quickly produce ATP, which is the cellular energy cells make from food. Basically, it allows your body to take glucose molecules (which are broken down from more complicated molecules) and turn them into energy more quickly. In the gym, most people report this effect as allowing them to get more reps with a given weight, even if their maximal strength doesn’t increase. This is great for building muscle.
Creatine also tends to allow your muscles to hold more water. If you “load” creatine, or take a very large amount when first starting on it, you will probably notice a quick gain of a few pounds. Though this is just water weight, being heavier can help make you stronger, as well as appear bigger and fuller. It’s kind of like constantly feeling a bit “pumped.”
The downside to this water retention is that the water can also get trapped under your skin, making you appear “smooth,” If you’re relatively lean, this shouldn’t matter, but if you’re carrying some extra body fat, it can be discouraging to look even a little smoother than you already are.
It’s true that kidney issues can arise, but that’s probably not something the vast majority of people need to worry about. Protein can cause kidney issues to flair up, and if you’re able to handle the extra protein you’re already taking, chances are creatine isn’t going to do anything bad to you.
Overall, the positives are: increased stamina with any given weight, slightly more muscle built from hard training sessions, increased water weight, and increased muscle fullness. The possible negatives are a “smoother” appearance if you’re already a bit chunky and the VERY rare kidney issue. If you’re really curious, you should probably go ahead and try it. Just stick with plain, micronized, creatine monohydrate. Don’t buy anything fancy, and don’t buy any of the flavored, sugary mixes, as they are way overpriced and don’t do anything special.

Nancy asks…
Does anyone know of the quickest and most efficient way to build muscle strength and mass?
I want to build muscle mass and strenght fast. Any suggestions?
admin answers:
Hi Wifi,
The fastest way to build muscle mass is through weight training and proper nutrition. To add mass quickly you will want to be in a calorie surplus, meaning you have to consume more calories than you burn. Try to eat 5-6 meals per day each consisting of a lean protein source (i.e.: chicken breast, tuna, lean beef, egg whites, etc.) and a complex carbohydrate source (i.e.: brown rice, potatoes, oatmeal, beans, etc.). Also strive for at least 2 servings of vegetables per day for fiber. Aim for 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight daily. (Use a protein supplement to reach your daily protein target)
Perform resistance training exercises (weight lifting) 3-4 non-consecutive days per week to build muscle. Allow time for recovery before training the same muscle group again. Stick with compound movements like squats, deadlifts, bench presses, pull ups, rows, etc. Use a weight that is heavy enough to allow you to perform 8-12 repetitions with perfect form.
Get plenty of rest, this is the time when your body is actually growing. 8 solid hours of sleep per night, and take every other day off from lifting weights.
Good luck!
-Chris

Susan asks…
Anyone know best ways to build muscle mass?
Right now I’m 6″1′ and I weigh about 165 pounds with a body type that is a combination between an ectomorph and a mesomorph. I am extremely active and workout for at least 90 minutes a day for 6 days a week in training for triathlons. However I would like to build some more muscle mass to help improve my times in swimming and to have a little better physique. I’m pretty much open to any ideas including supplements, workout ideas or just general advice.
Thanks!
admin answers:
Increase the weight, decrease the reps. If you’re doing any more than 8-10 reps per set, you’re not loading the muscle enough.

Buy a Power Yoga instructional video. It takes practice and time to learn but it’s a workout and a half. The video I bought is a routine that works every part of your body in a balanced way. It’s also very functional as it makes you WAY more flexible in a short amount of time. It also has many other benefits like calminng and clearing your mind, improved balance and focus and so on. It’s hard to explain. You really have to try it and you’ll understand.

how do you build muscle without weights?
all i have are 10lb dumbells, and i’m kinda poor.
how can i add more muscle to my hamstrings, quads, biceps, triceps, and chest?
admin answers:
Hold the dumbbells and do lunges 20 each leg 3x a day, squats for hamstrings 20 3x a day, and butterfly 25 reps 3 x a day, this will add some. Also use what you have at your disposal get creative large canned food works just look around. Do sprint running for calf muscles and tilt up on tip toes holding the dumbbells slowly 25 reps 3x a day. For arms tricep and bicep curls build up to 50 reps 3x a day. You will be sore at first but it should help over time. Good Luck!!

Donna asks…
Can you use squats to build leg muscle WITHOUT weights?
I want to build leg muscle…but, I have no weights. Is it possible to just do normal squats without weights to gain muscle in my thighs? Will I eventually need to use weights?
admin answers:
It depends if you want to have large bulky legs or lean toned ones.
If you want large ones, No, body weight squats wont do. You will only reach a certain size after which you will need a larger weight to increase size.
If you want to tone though, squats without weights are not great but good enough. After a while you might find it too easy so you might want to try some of the variations stated by the guy with the first answer.

Thomas asks…
How can I determine how much estimated tax I will owe?
I am planning to switch to freelance work in November. I understand that I will need to pay estimated tax, but I am so confused! Since it will be my first year freelancing, how can I accurately estimate my profit? I’m terrified that my estimated tax payments will actually exceed my earnings. Am I misunderstanding something? Why can’t my payments be based on how much I’ve actually made each quarter rather than how much I expect to make by the end of the year?
admin answers:
A few tips to get you started.
1. You need a well-developed business plan before you set out on your own. This will include estimated income, expenses, taxes, etc. Without this you will almost certainly fail. People don’t plan to fail, but the often fail to plan.
2. You will review your income and tax position FREQUENTLY as part of your business operations and adjust your estimated tax payments up or down as needed throughout the year. This review will be part of your overall business plan.
3. At the very least, you’ll pay in 100% of the PRIOR year’s tax liability on your estimated taxes. This will prevent having to pay penalties and interst for underpayment of estimated taxes if you underestimate. Your periodic reviews of your tax situation will tell you how much money to set aside for your actual tax debt at filing time.
Follow these three steps and you’ll have a fighting chance of success. If you’re not ready to follow them, you are NOT yet ready to strike out on your own!

If I grossed 9000.00? I have a 401k which I contributed 175.00 and have over 1100.00 in the 401k. I also have a IRA Roth Account that I contribute to every 2 weeks. I have only one job and I withdrew from the Roth account… a lot!! I paid 500 in federal taxes. I will also claim 2 dependents.

You should get all of your federal taxes back, if the dependents qualify you can get the child tax credit, and you may also qualify for head of household.
Go to irs.gov there is a worksheet that estimates your return.
